Mississippi River Brass Band got together yesterday and today to do a recording. Todd came from Iowa and stayed last night with us. Keith said Dan was going to pick him up to carpool, and I asked why not go with Todd? He said Todd came on a motorcycle. I said what? You can’t come on a motorcycle with a baritone!
I was wrong.
Now, the NEXT thing needs to be a tuba that one can BOTH ride AND play… It’s a thought…. (Someone once stretched out a sousaphone and put wheels and a seat on it – it worked, and it played badly. I have a picture somewhere.) I’m thinking along the lines of a motorized operation.
Oh.my.goodness! That is something I certainly never envisioned and am very glad I now have.
