They have been forecasting snowmaggedon all week. We were supposed to get 1-2 feet of snow. Big winds. Don’t go outside. It was supposed to start at 5pm yesterday and last until 4am Monday. It started. It stopped. It started. It stopped. The wind blew, then it didn’t. Some places got pretty much snow, but we got maybe 10 inches? I don’t know – I didn’t go outside (because I follow instructions). They cancelled a ton of flights in and out today, hence (I think) they cancelled school tomorrow. I think they were going to be really short staffed because everyone was on a spring break trip. Yay! No school!
Alexander has been stuck at Benjamin’s all day. He left Illinois late last night to get to Madison, then stayed all day because the roads (and apparent blizzard) were terrible in the middle of Wisconsin. He is hoping things clear up by morning, but it doesn’t look good.
Benjamin ventured forth for Mark’s 36-and-a-half birthday. That is why he is here this weekend. They did golf swinging and pizza eating. The roads were okay in the towns. Look at the new girl! She is Anastasia. She is from Russia. She hangs around with Mark. Happy half birthday, Mark.

Making up for the start/stop aspect of things in northern Michigan – it’s more like western/central Wisconsin. We’re going to wind up with over two feet of snow in Leelanau County. But the weather is great indoors! Everyone follow Barbara’s lead and follow instructions…
I know your plow man will come and take care of you. Until then, enjoy the inside!
