We had amazing sandwiches from Alleycat’s Gourmet Sandwiches in White Bear Lake before seeing the Lakeshore Players’ Oscar Wilde play this afternoon. Neither of us had ever seen it before, although it is very famous. The first act is short and really just a lot of exposition – it does make you wonder if you want to go back for the 80 minute second/third acts. We were glad we did because it was quite funny. The actors were very clear in their delivery, which was important in the rapid-fire dialog.
We grocery shopped a bit before coming home and settling in for the blizzard. We had tickets to a show tonight, but we were able to switch them to Friday night. That is the true beauty of season tickets!!!! We’ve got a couple of inches of snow and it’s still falling. It is supposed to continue to snow for the next 24 hours, so we’ll see what piles up!
