We should have been flying home from London today, but instead we got to see both of our boys.
Benjamin mentioned yesterday that he could use a box grater for Christmas. He said he has use of one nearly every day. In the night, I realized we have a box grater that I have used maybe twice in the past 30 years. I went looking for it to give to him. We couldn’t find it. We opened all the cupboard doors in the kitchen and pantry. We made British Dave inspect the cabinet over the refrigerator. It was nowhere. I told Benjin to look again in the first place I had looked and it had magically appeared there. Ta da!
After he and Dave were on their way to help build or fix or do something with friends, Alexander contacted us to see if we wanted to have lunch. We chose the 328 Grill in the American Legion in St. Paul Park. Alexander keeps track of their burger of the week each week. Their chef is quite creative. Keith was interested in this week’s – burger with goulash and cheddar and crispy onions. It was apparently delicious. We had a fine meal while the Viking/Packer game was playing. There were games to play and prizes to win. We didn’t win, but it is mostly fun just to have a game to play.

Benjamin shipped a 10 pound box of cherry Jelly Belly beans to us earlier this week. He had one to welcome Dave 10 days ago, but thought a second might be needed by the time they got here. Dave really likes them. He encouraged us to open it today and take a few, so we did. There is something rather unbelievable about opening a box and finding it just full of jelly beans. Some unbelievable and fantastic.

Ooooo, ooooo, ooooo…. You may still have some “blurry” in your vision, and know it will go away, but you also just LOOK like BLT again – completely. Cherry and strawberry are the best….
Super glad to hear I look like me. I had some droopy eye days and have been working hard at getting my eye open with little success. It felt stuck and suddenly yesterday I could move it again.
