Hi, Mickey

There are big face balloons of Mickey and Minnie. We have thought they were the actual characters so many times when we see them coming around a corner or out of the corner of our eyes. I was going to take a picture of a bunch of Mickeys when they attacked me. It was hilarious.

We went to the PIXAR Together show. Keith liked Mickey better yesterday, but I thought this was great. One part had the UP house and guys flying through the sky and I thought the whole theater was floating up and down. The staging for everything was amazing. And they had live musicians, which always make it best.

Keith figured out that they re-themed Catastrophe Canyon with CARS, so we were on a hunt looking for it. You wouldn’t think you wouldn’t just run into everything as you walk around, but apparently it is pretty easy to do. The CARS were cute and it felt very nostalgic to see the old canyon flood – this time with a Dinoco truck.

We found a Christmas store (I suggested we vault up our ceiling for Christmas time and do decorations like they did).

We walked in a door and found a Snow White EXTERIOR, with a shop inside. Surprise.

Since Keith was wearing his Luigi’s shirt today, we rode the Luigi ride! It is entirely cute, and then it whipped us around in circles so fast I couldn’t stop laughing. I worked really hard taking pictures.

We visited Frozen land, but did not buy all the stuff. We did think about it.

We had lunch at PYM Kitchen. We had a reservation, but waited in a long line outside to get in (about 25 minutes). The strange thing about it wasn’t the wait, it was that after they got that crowd seated, there was no one waiting and lots of empty tables. Huh. It was a nice meal, but the theming was pretty minimal. In Anaheim, it is menu not a buffet, but things are a lot cuter there.

I went back six times for green beans. They had these crispy onions on them that were just tasting so good to me!

I found the pickles a bit sharp!

The ice cream machine lifted up your bowl and filled it exactly the same every time. It was super smooth. Keith may have gone back for fourths.

There is an arcade to the side of Main Street that connects to the back of shops and gives you an easy walkway when Main St. is busy. We found a bench and had a rest. We’d been there a while when Keith said, “You don’t think there is actually something about the Statue of Liberty in there, do you?” There is.

We happened to look across at Big Thunder just when they were walking people off. It is always our dream to be walked off. How exciting. We got walked off Snow White once and still remember how exciting it was.

We were watching the Casey Jr. train zoom around and then it stopped. Those people were going to get walked off! Lucky.

I have been craving a lemon, orange, strawberry twisty popsicle. I finally decided it was time. I hadn’t checked the menu – this one wasn’t lemon – it was peach! Yuck. Keith did his best to eat just the peach parts. He actually did a better job than I thought possible.

Small World doesn’t have baby Groot, but it has America stuff that American parks don’t have. It was kind of exciting.
