I wanna be those people

We went to the Alamo theater tonight and I saw this car in the parking lot. How great is that?! I would never think of that. I am so glad those people did and that they followed through and I got to see it. Yay!

We saw Shaun the Sheep: Beast of Foggy Bottom. It was very cute and I liked it. Spoiler: my favorite sight gag was when the mob was chasing the beast one of the villagers had a selfie stick with a flame app on their phone.

Another movie let out at the same time as ours – Coyote v Acme. There were quite a few people coming out and they seemed in high spirits. I’m glad people are still going to see it. It’s really good.

This was our last movie on our four months of Alamo movie passes (two months of buy one get one free). We saw 21 movies in four months (we were out of town 42 of those days). It comes out to $5.71/movie, which is cheaper than the $7 Alamo charges on cheap Tuesday and slightly more than Woodbury 10 charges on $5 Wednesday. The beauty is that we could go any time we wanted to go. We’d already paid, so it was “free”. I love a season pass. It is the ultimate luxury to me.

  1. We saw coyote v. Acme last week or two ago. Only 5 at a 7 pm showing. I chuckled out loud several times. Mike read that it has made as much money as they put into it… So that’s good!

    1. I’m glad it made some money! I read an article about animated films for 2026 and it has the best reviews. I hope it wins best animated feature after all that monkeying around with it.
