That is the name of the show we went to in Hudson tonight, but it is also how I was really feeling all day. I got up feeling pretty good about my week subbing for Maren. She put together a nice packet of stuff for us to do and I think it went okay. I decided to take cheese and crackers for breakfast when I got there (what. a. treat! I love spready cheese and Sociables) (You have to go early to this building because traffic is yucky, so there is time for breakfast after I arrive) (I also got there earlier than usual because I didn’t take time to cook and eat an egg and toast). So, I was happily eating cheese and crackers and in walks Laurie, the teacher from next door, with an everything bagel, toasted, with butter! My absolute favorite! Bagel Friday. I was so happy I cannot even say. A perfect, surprise treat!
The morning went even better than expected. The projects were going pretty well and third hour actually worked while they talked! Great! I was just really thinking about how lucky I am to be enjoying my job so much lately (2025), how lucky I have teachers who choose to work with me, how nice it was to be back at WMS where I know so many people and had such great conversations this week. It was snowy and pretty and happy out.
I followed my friend Betsy around during my prep. We guarded the bathroom doors (Only 2 people at a time!) (the boys are trashing the bathroom often. Their plan is to have a woman tell them 2 at a time. Ridiculous. I was happy I didn’t have any actual responsibility regarding this problem), then we went to the staff lunchroom for her lunch. There were DOUGHNUTS. I’d already had lunch, but DOUGHNUTS. On an already bagel day.
Stop thinking that is too many treats for one day. I was thinking it. I even slowed down to consider it before I ate a doughnut. I haven’t had a doughnut in a long time. Such happy.
Nap after school – famous bowl for dinner (it was already a complete loss as to anything healthy about today) – rice Krispie treat at a bake sale at the theater – walking in the snow under BEAUTIFUL lights with Keith. What a wonderful life!!

I love it! Glad you had a wonderful day. We are blessed and lucky
We are!!
