It must be Tuesday because I just did Tuesday’s Wordle. I am pretty confused about when it is, to be honest.
The flight to Tokyo was good . We were in premium select, so we had nice leg room, a little foot rest, and comfy pillows. I slept 40 minutes. I watched the Devil Wears Prada, then restarted it to sleep to. I woke up at 42 minutes. Since we were flying west the goal was not to sleep a lot. Since I can rarely stay awake for 12 straight hours when I am just at home, it was a little surprising to stay awake on the plane.
We watched from high in the sky through the front door camera as the city took down the big ash tree in our front yard.
There were a gazillion people going through customs, but the line mostly kept moving. I got a pretty sticker instead of a stamp in my passport. I assume the best people get stickers.
We had three hours to wait before our flight to Osaka. We went to a lounge with no food. We weren’t hungry anyway, but it was different.
We took an Uber, which are run through taxis, to our hotel. Our room is cute. The bathroom door is a foot off the ground.
I’ve been awake 25 hours. I’ll say goodnight as you are all waking up.
Ooooooo…. I forgot about the house shoes! Are there are also yukatas and a washer/dryer in your hotel room? Even though we just had a visit from Nobu last week, I hadn’t really thought about the real day-to-day aspects of my time in Japan. Hope you both slept well!
