I start saying “last nice day ’til June” in September. It means it’s a beautiful day today and pretty soon it will be winter and we gotta appreciate the weather! My kids are verrrry knowledgeable about the last nice day ’til June. Go outside!
I figured out yesterday that my body is living on Honolulu time. Then I went to bed at 1am and read until 5am because my book was good and I wasn’t tired. Apparently, I am actually feeling Figi time. I was up and around by 11am, so that seemed fine. I continued reading my book (The Calamity Club – 634 pages) this afternoon, then I realized it might be the last nice day ’til June! It’s going to be a high of 65 tomorrow. I told Keith we needed to go ride around in the convertible.
It had had a squealy sound. We haven’t driven it since that started. The internet told Keith the brakes had rust because it isn’t driven very often. We were out listening for the squealy sound – driving fast and slow – wiggling left and right. A recheck with the internet said it was rust but probably not where we could see it because our car has blah blah blah. The handy guy to know took the wheel off to be able to see and figured out we need new brake pads. We did stop to visit Betsy and Dave, so that was a bonus fun of being out and about.
I wore my new Wallace headband Benjamin won at an arcade. It did a great job keeping my hair from being everywhere.

We watched the Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branaugh Apple TV movie Mayday. I laughed so hard at one scene I couldn’t breathe. I am so glad it was a home movie, not a theater movie. I highly recommend it.
I finished my book. It was good. It was set during the Depression and I am very glad we have food to eat.

I also had trouble putting The Calamity Club book down. Mrs. Tartt was my favorite character. I want to have her elegance some day.
Agreed!!!
