Legally Blonde

We got season tickets for the Ordway this year because they were doing Mystic Pizza, and that was new to me and I wanted to see it. In the fall, they had to cancel MP and substitute Legally Blonde. I wasn’t too interested in it, but tickets had already been bought and one or two shows already seen. No big deal. I got a picture of Sophie and Megan doing a selfie. I named them.

Turns out we hadn’t seen Legally Blonde, either. I found it meh. Keith liked it. We both had a hard time understanding the people – mostly singing, but sometime talking. The cast was fine (I think the sound was too loud. When I put my fingers in my ears, I could understand better), the show itself was weak. I felt like they sang the same song over and over.

It was raining when we came out, but we were prepared with umbrellas to walk 3 or 4 blocks to our new favorite parking ramp. It’s not hard to get out of there.
