We went a couple blocks to Hoskins family restaurant – highly rated by the locals. (By the way, Michael just read that the median age of the population of North Myrtle beach is about 62. We fit right in) We passed it yesterday and the line went down the block at 5pm. We waited to go until about 7 and didn’t wait long. We got lots of food – including Donna’s first hushpuppies. She said they tasted like the corn part of a corn dog – the only part that she likes. Win.

I do not know why we were arm wrestling in a restaurant. I definitely was winning, but then I didn’t. I have never won an arm wrestling match. Compare my beefy arm to Donna’s twiggy little wrist. Let it fill you with laughter that just bubbles out of you.

We also did the pool and beach today. Beautiful day!!!!

We are not cold, we are un-sunning.

Perfect vacation days…. REALLY, DONNA???? No hushpuppies EVER??? Along with fried okra, those are two of my favorite things. You need more of both things – those two things are a food group. (Especially if one is FROM the South.) It’s a good thing we aren’t in charge of establishing those things. That would be one of my “prime” food groups, and Barbara’s would be chocolate. It’s a good thing we live in Michigan and Wisconsin all these years where it’s hard to get hush puppies and fried okra. Chocolate, on the other hand – as we all know – not so much a problem…
As you say, they aren’t much available in Wisconsin 🙂 I forgot to mention Michael was introduced to shrimp and grits and had it three nights in a row. Travel is broadening!
