MRBB rehearsed over the weekend and played a concert at Woodbury Lutheran Church tonight. We were lucky to be indoors because it was HOT today. Europe has been blistering under near 100° temperatures, and we gave it a go today.
Keith arranged Good Night Mister Johnny as an Eb cornet solo. It goes from the lowest note on the horn to one of the highest. It also has a lot of notes that are played really quickly after one another. Conductor Jack Stamp said many super nice things about Keith while introducing him. It was really nice that someone else mentioned what I’ve known all along – he’s spectacular!
Fantastic concert. Keith was spectacular.
On another note, Keith is a spectacular human being and so are you. Seriously, two of the best people wrapped up in one couple.
You forgot to mention we have spectacular friends!!
