My new glasses came in the mail from the internet yesterday. Since my eye surgery fixed my eye, it sees better than before the retina detachment. Apparently, my other eye has gotten worse. My glasses were realllllllly not cutting it. I put these on yesterday and everything was clear. And sort of bent. The top of my phone was no longer at right angles from the sides – it sort of went up to the left. Huh. Walls were kinda funky, too. I practice walked next door without falling down.
The wonky world was gone this morning. My brain figured out the new, not-very-similar prescriptions. Yay.
I just looked at my picture. I looked a little 1950s scientist-y.

I’m with Julie…. 1) they look great, 2) they work. (Maybe those should be reversed, but it doesn’t matter.) Let’s hear it for seeing real good….
