I woke up happy today. I guess that can happen when you sleep solidly for nine hours. We had plenty of time to pack up and get ready to go. No stress!
Keith played an orchestra concert in Eau Claire. It was the most stunning day. Cool, but warm, and sunny and wonderful. I listened to the rehearsal, then took a walk during the concert (unplanned. I could have reversed but I didn’t). I found lots of art to look at. Fun.
We went to Wissota High Shores supper club for dinner at 4pm. DELICIOUS as always.
We drove to Madison. The moon came up as BIG as possible and we enjoyed its beauty.
At Benjamin’s house we admired his vacuuming and talked about how the Wisconsin State Fair is soooooo much better than the Minnesota State Fair.

Yesterday was just a lovely day for us, too. A fine example of how a day of perfect weather just seems to make everything better. We enjoyed a busy day with lots of good family time. This gave us the memory of a special moment to pack up and bring out on a gray day in January.
That is exactly right. I do think that the weather was entirely to credit with my stellar mood.
