Keith told me Saturday that Teriyaki Madness was having a 20% off sale over Labor Day weekend. We were going to go yesterday, but I was feeling crummy, so I napped instead. Today was the day! I was planning on potstickers and extra vegetables! The glory of not saving at a sale, just ordering more!
And they were closed. Happy Labor Day. Our choices for next nearest was in Iowa.
We sat and thought about our options. We decided to order enough food for four people from Dominos. The Buffalo chickens were really good. Maybe we shouldn’t know about them.
We went to see By Any Means tonight. It was set in 1966 in Mississippi where the overt racism was enough to maybe think the violence used on those good ole boys in the movie might have been okay. I threw my blanket over my head several times. I wonder if the people behind us noticed. We like to sit in the second row, so there is usually no one anywhere close to us, but I really threw the blanket up high once because I was in a hurry to hide. They were probably watching the movie…
