I first saw Wallism mural wallpaper ads around the time that we moved here, last year. I was captivated. I thought it was so cool. I enjoyed looking through the gazillions of choices. I finally decided we should go for it. I picked out Fairy Tale Flowers V first. Then I went through florals and actually picked a dozen that I really liked. Keith looked through those twelve and picked Fairy Tale Flowers V. Done. We ordered it.
The order said it would be delivered in 6-10 business days. It was coming from Sweden. It arrived in 4 business days. That actually seems to defy all shipping possibilities.
We took our time getting the wall ready yesterday. We started putting up the paper at noon today and were finished before 2pm. It went up like a dream. I wallpapered a lot of walls 30-40 years ago; a lot has changed since then. Any worries we had about wrecking it were laid to rest immediately after putting up the second piece. The first was easy, but the second showed us how the seams just DISAPPEAR when the papers touch. Easy as could be!
We like it a lot. Keith says we have to keep our bedroom clean now so we can show people. I said Keep? You mean get. Get our bedroom clean, then we’ll worry about keeping it that way.
Keith did everything but actually stick the paper to the wall. He was so excited that he kept taking pictures, without even being asked to do so. Please notice I got out of bed to do this and never even combed my hair. My painting shorts do coordinate with the room, though.
Gosh I love that a lot!!!! Reminds me of a wall paper my sister and I had growing up. It was red poppies. My mom loved poppies. These remind me of poppies!!! It’s so so pretty. Nice job too.
