Friday, August 7, 2026 Maren and family have gone to The Cabin for a week. I volunteered to babysit Trooper the dog, because seriously, I am next door. Keith’s sister asked what kind of dog and I said dog-shaped with pointy ears. Trooper is not a walking dog; he is a backyard dog. He seems

Thursday, August 6, 2026 We went to Bloomington to see Artistry’s production of In the Heights. I have to be honest, I wasn’t interested in going at all. I have been really good at doing very, very little. It was no surprise that the show was good (they are a very good company) and I

Friday, July 31, 2026 Never be afraid of color!

Thursday, July 30, 2026 We had a great evening with the Wickerts! We had a great summer meal of brats and veggies and fruit and baked beans followed by lemon cake. We shared pictures of Danish trolls and cemeteries and enjoyed seeing some of Peter’s pictures from his (insane) biking trip to France. We played

Wednesday, July 30, 2026 I read that the word odyssey comes from the name Odysseus and his travels. That makes all the sense, but I had never put it together before. We call that a W moment – like when you figure out W is UU. There is nothing better than figuring out a W
