We are going to build a pantry in the laundry room and are planning on using IKEA shelving. I suggested we go to the store to look at colors and sizes and make decisions. We had the brilliant idea of going when they opened, doing our looking, then coming home quickly.

HA!

We were there for three and a half hours. Of course, that included Swedish meatballs for lunch. We discovered they have excellent diet cola (that is what it is labeled on the dispenser). I had the great idea of getting something to eat when I saw a piece of 5-layer cake, each layer a different color. Notice we didn’t actually get colorful cake. We got “almondy cake with chocolate crunch”. The chocolate tasted like Europe and it was wonderful.

We made decisions and left for home. Maren invited me to come over to float, so I was back in “my” pool for the first time since moving. It was WONDERFUL.
