It was sunny fog again today for our last Myrtle Beach day. Keith has been wanting to eat at Johnny D’s since we got here (it was right by the entrance to our last hotel) so today was the day. Julie won with her order of a shrimp and crab omelet with creole remoulade, but everyone really enjoyed their meal.

We beached/sat in chairs in the sun this afternoon. The fog came and went and came again and left again. I find it very interesting.
Bocce ball when the tide was out!

The sun was right behind the palmetto (state tree!) and looked cool. Cooler in real life than on the picture.

We went to hear live music (with instruments actually played by the people) at House of Blues. The stand-out part of the meal was the bread pudding with toffee sauce. The sauce was so good that when everyone else went to use the restrooms, I utilized my finger to scrape every bit of it out of the bowl. My finger!

There was some creepy art at House of Blues. The guy in the red won that contest for me.

The band was twin brothers. They appreciated our enthusiasm and came over to say hi after they finished. It was really nice.

A terrific last day… I think that everyone is boarding flights as I’m writing this. Hope everyone has a safe trip.
We made it to ATL – at the lounge. They are in DC.
