Merry Christmas 2025

Thursday, December 25. 2025

Nancy got us matching pajamas because we never had them before. We were entirely adorable.

We started the traditional way – sawdust sausage for breakfast.

We opened presents. Keith did an outstanding job of thoughtful gifts – remembering things I mentioned throughout the year.

Alexander got us each an item from $1 day at DaaBIN. I love my construction themed paper swirl party decoration.

Alexander got us a funtivity of try-all-the-Pringles!

I was explaining something and said, “Everyone holds hands,” and they both immediately held hands.

Keith got a 30-year-old controller and the original Zelda game. The boys are trying to corrupt his retirement.

David and Nancy had Fun at Costco and got me a new colander. Alexander demonstrated it’s uses

Afghans and storage bags make great wrapping for bigger presents.

Keith got the biggest present. We just made him close his eyes when the boys carried it in.

There was some traditional Christmas napping. No one took my picture.

All the people came in the late afternoon. Both my brothers and both my sisters were here. Adam is deployed and Marla was home with her small kids – having a quiet family time. All the rest of the neices and nephews were here.

Brandon knew exactly how to pose after the family pictures last night.

Liz won best hat at work. Obviously.

I got Emma pencils because she is a teacher.

There was so much food. It was great. The people in this family can really cook. Jayne made crackers for her charcuterie board. MADE crackers. So good.

Alexander and Donna were having a comfortable chat.

This game of Uno lasted. And lasted. And lasted. Liz won.

Pit! Corner on the corn! Then Up the River Down the River. Then Flip 7. That Uno game was still going on.

Jayne, Karen, and I were trying to figure out the order height of the young men. We were entirely wrong. And mostly, they are all really close – too hard to even tell.

Here we are!!
