The Day Before

Keith and I worked all day going through piles of papers and random collections of stuff that seem to accumulate readily at our house. We made some food for tomorrow. We watched Survivor. We did not play on our phones or mindlessly look at random stuff. It was a pretty good day. We got up early with the plan to take a nap in the afternoon, but never had the nap. We were awake all day. All day.

I had to zest and juice some oranges to go in the cranberry sauce. They were really big oranges, and I had a hard time using the hand juicer very effectively. I ate all the leftover bits and they were delicious. You can see the inch of snow we got out the window. It wasn’t quite the blizzard we were expecting.

We tried making an edible craft. I do not think it is going to turn out, but it is in the refrigerator trying to work. I’ll let you know.
